Led by ten contemporary artists, magic at dusk transforms the Bouscat woods. Until March 3, 2024, the tenth edition of “L’hiver enchanté” will delight lovers of art and magic, young and old.
It is a magical walk that has been enchanting walkers since 2014. Enchanted winter settled in Bois du Bouscat near Bordeaux until March 3, 2024. To celebrate ten years of this family event, ten contemporary artists offer visitors a journey through light works specially designed for the occasion.
At dusk, the enchanting forest of Bouscat takes on the appearance of a wonderful forest. Like in a fairytale,trees are transformed under the sky of illuminated threads, fantastic silhouettes emerge in the dark, fascinating sculptures stand out along the paths. Poetic creations are scattered throughout the route. Both children and He love him. “I liked everything, we took pictures, it was so beautiful” wonders the little girl. “There is peace, there are lights, there are works that invite you to sit and admire, and the sound of rain adds magic,” explains the visitor.
An ode to nature
This year, ten artists were invited to bring the sleeping nature to life. Among them we find Julien Lechelle, Les enfants perdus, Jam kolektiv, Pascal Ducos, Sophie Agouès, Pipol, Camille Mansir, Billie kolektiv and Mathieu Mustache.
Since 2013, the organizers Fr Enchanted winter draw attention to the innocence of childhood. Long-term work shared with residents and the social and cultural center of the city.
