In this last week of January, Marcelo Pagnol’s school group in Lespinasse was the scene of its 3rd annual Night of Reading, a national event organized by the National Book Center. In this new year, nearly 130 participants gathered for an evening to share the joy of reading.
At 19:15 in the main room of the Pôle Enfance, welcomed by Theresa Loogen, its director, and Alison Ben Belaid, city councilor responsible for children and school affairs, the guests passed through the corridors of the Groupe Scolaire Marcel Pagnol at the mercy of. of 5 literary universes.
An intimate cultural evening that took reading lovers on a journey around the theme of “The Body”. Through 5 workshops prepared and prepared by children, parents, facilitators as well as representatives of the city and teachers, young and old were lulled by the words of works from children’s literature. Among the selected titles were “The name of the mushroom” by Edouard Manceau, “My body, the skeleton and I” by Sandrine Bonini, “People are beautiful” by Baptiste Beaulieu and “I would like” by Olivier Tallec: an original selection that pushed the participants to a natural, literary or even a poetic introspection of the place of the “body” in our lives.
A beautiful evening that caught the attention of all participants who were very happy to participate in this 3rd annual Reading Night.
There is no doubt that the municipality, various partners, families, children, leaders of the Leisure Center and the staff of the Municipal Media Library are already very motivated to organize the next edition.
